Building Brands Across Borders: Lessons from Serving Clients in 18 Countries

Operating out of Dhaka while serving clients across 18 countries has taught us things no single-market agency textbook covers. Time zone overlap becomes a design constraint of its own — async feedback loops need to be built into the project plan, not treated as a workaround.

Cultural context matters more than most briefs acknowledge. A color palette that reads as premium in one market can read as somber in another; a tone of voice that feels confident in one region can feel abrasive in another. We’ve learned to ask more questions before starting strategy work with a new market than we used to, and to resist assuming our own default assumptions travel well.

What hasn’t changed is the fundamentals: clear positioning, consistent execution, and being genuinely easy to work with. Those travel everywhere.
